I just discovered Pasta Shoppe after someone gifted me with a box of Vegan Organic Mac “N Cheese. I just made it and it was so easy to do and it ended up to be delicious! Hi! I’m so excited to see this product and heard great things. My only question is if the palm oil used in the cheese sauce is certified sustainably-sourced to protect the earth from deforestation. Please let me know! Thank you!

Good question. Palm oil is made from all plant based ingredients. It is widely used in many products including food, cosmetics, etc. and is in about 50% of all packaged goods in the grocery. Because the farming of palm oil trees has been linked to an overall negative impact on the planet, some people choose not to purchase items that include it.
